BAND
Your band should be snug and stay parallel to the floor. If you feel your band riding up on the tightest hook, it's time to go down a band size. You should be able to fit the width of two fingers comfortably underneath the band at the back—if it stretches more, we recommend trying a smaller band size.
CUPS
Your breasts should fill out the bra cups but should not spill over (aka, the dreaded quad-boob effect). If you bra cups are puckering, you may need a smaller cup size. Also—everyone has breasts of different sizes! If one cup fits well and one is puckering, one of your breasts may be smaller than the other. In this case, it is best to fit your largest breast and use an insert to fill in the other cup.
STRAPS
Your straps should be comfortable and should only carry about 20% of your breast weight. If your straps are digging into your shoulders, try loosening them.
HAND WASH (Recommended)
For best results we recommend hand washing your
Trusst bra in a gentle detergent and laying it flat to dry. To hand wash: fill a sink with cool water and mild detergent. Submerge bra and lightly agitate for no more than 5 minutes. Rinse with cold water and squeeze gently to remove excess - do not wring. Blot dry.
MACHINE WASH
Using a lingerie bag, wash on the delicate cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Before washing, snap all hook and eye closures and check that bras are not tangled in the bag.
AIR DRY
Never place bras in a dryer—the heat will damage the elasticity of the bra, cause shrinkage and fraying, and distort the internal support system. After washing, reshape the bra cups and hang or lay the bra flat on a towel to dry. When storing the bra, be sure to lay it flat in drawer.
