"Truly remarkable and innovative design...FINALLY!"
Women's History Month- A Salute to Amelia Earhart

Happy Women’s History Month! We are celebrating by highlighting inspirational women who have paved the way for women of today, and those who are currently breaking down walls for women of the future.

Our first feature of the month is known as the reigning "Queen of the Air," Amelia Earhart.  Earhart was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean in 1928. After experiencing the thrill of flying for the first time, Amelia worked a variety of jobs, including as a photographer, truck driver, and stenographer for the local telephone company, to pay for her flying lessons.

Earhart was inspired by women who succeeded in predominantly male-dominated fields. She is known to have kept a scrapbook of successful women across a number of industries, including film direction and production, law, management, and mechanical engineering.

Today, Earhart is recognized not only for paving the way for female pilots worldwide, but also for her role in championing Women’s rights. She was a member of National Woman's Party and an early supporter of the Equal Rights Amendment.

Here at Trusst, as we introduce a new technology to a longstanding industry, we salute Earhart's persistence, and achievement of breaking down barriers in a male-dominated industry. Her personal achievements in aviation and activism for women’s rights have been instrumental for the women of today.
