This week, we are shining a spotlight on our Community Experience Manager, Bre. She spends her days helping our customers find the perfect fit either in our Pittsburgh showroom or through email and social media, making sure their orders get to them and generally listening to everything our community wants to share with her.
When we were in New York City at the beginning of March for International Women’s Day, we got the chance to talk to so many impressive women.
This week, in honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day coming up, we are featuring our founder, Sophia, as part of our Redefining Beauty series. Not only is Sophia our fearless leader and inspiration - challenging the traditional perceptions of what beauty is and what it stands for as she builds the Trusst brand and technology - but she’s also a new mom.
We met Emily on a blisteringly cold yet sunny day at Carnegie Mellon University. She knew her way around and you could tell she felt comfortable confident in this environment. She actually discovered Trusst through a fellow “busty” Carnegie Mellon alumni who had shared the Kickstarter campaign on her Facebook. After reading about the company, a year later, she came to the store to try some on...she now owns 4 bras.
Before Tonya found Trusst, she (like most women) was wearing the wrong size bra and struggled to find something that really worked for her body. She had read an article in Pittsburgh Magazine (Women in Business 2015) and discovered that there was a local brand, founded by women, that used engineering to design bras.
