My Boobs Are Wide-Set...What Does That Mean?

We’ve all heard about how women’s bodies are shaped like fruits (pear, apple, etc.) and our boobs are also special shapes or descriptions. We’ve already talked about “bell” shaped breasts, but today we are discussing “wide-set” shaped breasts.

What does “wide-set” mean? It means that your breasts have more space in between them than what is typical for most women. The average is typically 1-2 inches, but with “wide-set” breasts the distance between your breasts is bigger. This means that your breasts will push out more towards the side than in the middle.

The good news is that no matter which style you prefer, Trusst has a style that will work for your breasts. We don’t think that you need a specific bra style for a specific breast shape, but of course, it can be helpful to know what works and doesn't work for you. This can be said for any size or shape! You have to find what works best and what feels most comfortable. We know we have the bra for you because of our innovative bra support technology - it actually supports your breasts (from underneath) making your bra super comfortable. Every woman wants a comfortable bra!

We love our Marjory t-shirt bra because of the simple style and color - you can wear it with anything - which we love. We also have a soft spot for our Naomi convertible bra because not only does it offer the same amazing support technology that all of our bras have, but it has so many extra features that you will love. Side support is the big win for this style - especially if you have “wide-set” breasts. You will want some extra material on the side since your breasts will naturally go outward.

As always, we encourage you to give a Trusst a bra a try. We are happy to support you through our stellar Bra Experts, our Size Calculator (to help determine your best size), and our Bra PhD page for all the details about our bras.
